Thomas E. Welage, OD spent his early years living in Greensburg, IN, and graduated from the School of Optometry at Indiana University in 1995. Since then, he has gained 20 year's worth of experience in the optometry industry.

Introducing: Mary Kolkmeier, OD
Dr. Mary Kolkmeier will be working with us part-time, 2 days a week.
Dr. Mary Kolkmeier grew up in Bartholomew County. She completed her undergraduate studies at Franklin College and then went on to the Indiana University School of Optometry, graduating with honors in 2008. She has completed post graduate training in visual dysfunction and learning related vision problems. Dr. Kolkmeier is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. She currently resides in Shelbyville with her husband and three children.
Dr. Kolkmeier is accepting new patients and considers it a privilege to enhance the gift of sight for people of all ages.
About Dr. Nicole Martin
Dr. Nicole Martin grew up in Greensburg, IN and she is excited to be back serving her community. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Indianapolis. She recently graduated with honors from Indiana University School of Optometry in 2023.
Dr. Martin is a member of the Indiana Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Martin is currently accepting new patients and is more than happy to help you with a new pair of glasses, contact lenses, ocular disease management or a routine eye health exam.
